FloraDeco came into existence recently after my wife and I decided to retire. We started collecting aroids about 3 years ago, as a hobby, or distraction, from running a large production nursery, employing 23 people and supplying retailers and chains throughout Queensland, NSW and the ACT for the last 42 years.

These plants are addictive – and I was hooked. My wife Juna ran our propagation and breeding division of our former production Nursery, propagating extremely hard and challenging plants. As a small, 2 person business this was a great advantage, as now Juna could focus on less commercial crops and indulge her passion for the unique and different. 

We strive to grow the best product possible, using our accumulated seven (7) decades of knowledge and experience to provide you with stunning, well-grown plants that will thrive for you, enhancing your plant experience. 

If there is one thing I have learnt from my time in this industry, it's that if you start with rubbish, you end up with rubbish, hence our commitment to provide you with the best quality possible, be that from a small $20 plant, right through to our high end specialty lines.

This is done by using specialised soil free media, clean, disease free cutting material and modern facilities to provide your plants with the ultimate environment.

• We also provide our own concierge service to the Quarantine States of WA, Tasmania and Northern Territory.

So, all plants are treated to the highest bio security guidelines, ensuring your plants are pest and disease free, getting them off to the best start in life. All of our plants that go through the quarantine service are sent in their pots, not having to be bare rooted, so that removes great stress from the plant.

Once you have selected your plants, great care goes into the packaging and shipment of your investment to all states. Juna spends a great deal of time wrapping and protecting your plant so it can easily withstand the rigours of transport, which can be challenging. 

Please note: We take every care and precaution to ensure your purchase reaches you in good condition, however, we cannot be held responsible for damage occurring during transit or damage occurring during the unwrapping of your plant. Please take care when removing tape and wrapping.
